2004 Burgundy This vintage’s success (for the red and white wines) was made by September’s dry and sunny weather. July and August were very unsettled and cool but these months also gave this vintage its unique character of richness yet with balancing freshness and vivacity (from the cooler and more unsettled July and August). produced remarkable wines with concentration and alcoholic degrees actually higher than 2003 because of the tiny yields!!
