1999 Barolo Monfortinob This year see the release of the stunning Barolo Monfortino 1999 from the legendary estate of Giacomo Conterno. This is as near a perfect wine as one can imagine. Incredibly pure, fine, complex and multi-dimensional and one of the greatest wines we have tasted from barrel for a very long time. The Barbera is fabulous too coming from a great vintage for the Piedmont region and also for Barbera. It shows superb, sweet tannins and great character and harmony. A delight to drink (but will keep very well too). These wines are due to be bottled in July 2006.

Above wines which are bottled in 75cl size bottles are also available in cases of 6 bottles (75cl). NB magnums cannot be split into cases of 3 magnums (150cl) and are only available in case of 6 magnums (150cl). Shipment is projected for December 2006 / January 2007. All offered subject to final confirmation and payment is due on receipt of our invoice.
